Free radicals causing cancer
An other problem that can cause cancer are Free radicals. Free radicals are unstable molecules that will harm our cells by taking up an electron of an other molecule to become stable. That electron is taken from a molecule in the cell and than this changed molecule became an instable molecule and can cause the cell to become a cancer cell. By taking antioxidants which are molecules who are able to give electrons away to the free radicals before the cell get damaged by the free radicals. It is possible to protect our cells against free radicals to take antioxidants. Examples of antioxidants are beta-carotene, lycopene, vitamins C, vitamine E , vitamine A and chorella. It is important to take enough antioxidants so the cells will be safe for free radicals.
